Second of a double-prequel to Lords of Deception.

Step out of Rildning’s journal and into the turmoil of conquest and exodus across the New World, nearly two years after the Brintilian Empire besieged the treetop city of Nalembalen.

Suffering heavy losses in a widening war, Rildning and his companions fan out across the continent to persuade other tribes to mount a common defense against the empire. Worse still, his journal has fallen into the hands of Marshal Hilsingor, the ruthless commander of the Frontier Corps. Armed with intimate knowledge of his enemy, Hilsingor is determined to block Rildning’s efforts and crush the remaining tribal resistance.

The outcome will forge Rildning’s unique legacy, one that will fever the dreams of kings for generations.
